Danger, Danger: Construction Work Accidents

Construction work is one of the most dangerous jobs in the world.

A few months ago, a construction workers died when the lift he was working on fell. While falling, the lift got tangled in some high voltage electrical wires and the worker was electrocuted. The utility company had to cut power lines before the lift could be moved and the man’s body recovered.

In another construction accident, two men were in the basket of a lift, installing aluminum panels on some new buildings. While the cause is still unknown the lift fell, causing the two men to fall nearly 30 feet. One construction worker immediately lost his life, the other was severely injured and later succumbed to death.
